Knotti Angels is a clothing and textile imprint, exploring methods of creating unique, hand-dyed garments using color and bleach dyes, and printmaking techniques.
My clothing embodies the values of slow fashion, and is made in the feeling of free jazz. Much like composing music or cooking food, dyeing textiles is a time-based art form that asks me to attend to physical changes and chemical reactions that take place over time, and to respond to unexpected results with improvisatory whimsy.
